Agricultural Innovation Centre (AIC), Priority Credit Wing, was established in the year 1988 as a specialized cell for assessing the viability of Agro based projects and to provide consultancy services to the entrepreneurs in Agricultural sector. The section is equipped with well-trained agricultural graduates having good knowledge and experience in the field of project appraisal.

The project reports prepared by Agricultural Innovation Centre are accepted by all the major banks and financial institutions.

AIC is not only involved in Project Appraisal but has also taken initiatives in identifying Agricultural clusters and formulating Area Specific Schemes which are having high potential to absorb bank credit.

In the previous FY (2022-2023), AIC has handled 318 projects involving an outlay of ₹ 4078.52 Crores in the following sectors

Appraisal charges by AIC

A.      For Our Bank Clients 1 Project Formulation/ Vetting (i)Term loan proposals other than Food and Agro Processing Units AIC will charge only out of pocket Expenses (OPE) /Incidental expenses , which shall be collected by the Branch and remitted to PC Wing, Bengaluru on DP Code 0025. If AIC appraisal report is issued to the Customer the following chagres to be collected.  Project cost up to ₹. 500 Lakhs – ₹. 5000/- + applicable GST                     Project cost above ₹. 500 Lakhs- ₹. 10000/- + applicable GST

ii. Term loan proposals for Food and Agro Processing Units:

  a)Appraisal Report strictly for Bank’s internal use, i.e , not to be shared with the Customers/Other lenders:

iii. Viability Studies:

Only OPE/Incidental expenses will be charged by AIC and no other fee is levied in respect of proposals referred to AIC for Viability study

iv. SERVICE CHARGES FOR APPRAISAL OF PUBLIC ISSUE/CONSORTIUM ADVANCES
