- Conversion of the account into regular SB account after the child attains majority.
- Minor Students above the age of 10 years can open and operate SB A/c in their own name, independently.
- Declaration to be obtained from parent / guardian.
- Application as per Bank’s prescribed form.
- Two recent passport size photographs.
- Proof of Identity and Proof of Address as per KYC norms.
- Declaration/Authorisation from the Parent.
- Copy of Student ID Card OR Letter from the respective Educational Institution.
- Any other document required by Bank.
- Withdrawals are allowed through withdrawal slip by the student by visiting the branch or through Debit Cards in ATM .
- The maximum monthly withdrawal by Debit Card is restricted to Rs.5000/.
- Total Debit Transaction limit per month is Rs.10000/ including maximum monthly withdrawal limit by using Debit Card of Rs.5000/.
- Total Credit in such accounts should not exceed Rs.1 lakh per annum.
- Balance in the account not to exceed Rs.50000 at any point of time.
- Account to remain always in credit.
- All other terms other than above are as per extant guidelines applicable to Saving Bank Deposit Product.
