PRESS RELEASE FROM INDIAN BANKS' ASSOCIATION

It has come to our notice that some fraudsters are sending phishing messages in the name of Indian Banks’ Association to entice gullible bank customers to part and password. The message reads as under:-

"Indian Banks’ Association provides an additional layer of security for online purchases by helping to prevent unauthorized individuals from using your ATM Card to buy online. To identify yourself, Please click on the link below and follow the Simple step http://www.iba.org.in/startpage.asp"

It will be noted that while our address of the website is www.iba.org.in, the mischief monger created a template similar to our home page of the IBA website.

We request all customers to please take due care of such messages purported to have been sent by IBA and do not share your password/ID under any circumstances.
