E- payment of Direct Taxes (income Tax/Wealth Tax/Coporation Tax/Gift Tax etc.)On-line

Canara bank provides the facility to pay Direct Taxes through internet. Eligibility for E-payment of tax is you should be Customer of our Core Banking Solution (CBS) Branch. Registered with the Bank’s Corporate/Retail Internet Banking, enabled with e-payment of Direct tax facility and should have a valid PAN/TAN allotted by the commissionerate of Income tax.

To pay Direct Taxes

1. To pay direct taxes click on the following link - Pay Direct Taxes
2. Click here to access NSDL website
3. Click the challan No. applicable.
4. Enter the PAN, name, address, assessment year, major head, minor head, type of Payment etc.
5. Select Canara Bank from the Bank name list.
6. You will be redirected to the Online Canara Bank login page.
7. Enter your Internet Banking user ID and password. Enter your transaction password. Click on the option " Click to validate your identity".
8. Click on the option "PAY TAX". If your credentials are valid, you can proceed to select the account from which you wish to pay tax and click on “SUBMIT”.
9. Enter tax amount, surcharge, education cess in the appropriate fields and ensure that The difference field shows as "Zero" value. Press "SAVE" button to submit the page.
10. You are displayed a confirmation page indicating the status of your transaction. Click on ‘’PRINT” to get a printed copy.
11.Tax payer can take cyber receipt print of earlier remittance by clicking the option "Regenerate Cyber Receipt".

E-payment of indirect Taxes(Excise & Service Taxes) On-line

Canara Bank provides the facility to pay Indirect taxes online. As a tax payer, you need to have a bank account, enabled for net banking facility with epayment in anyone of our Core Banking branches. Please find below the procedure for making the payment.

To pay Excise and Service Tax

1. To pay Excise and service tax click on the following link - Pay Excise & Service Tax
2. Enter your 15 digit Assessee Code allotted by CBEC.
3. Select appropriate Accounting code/s.
4. Select Canara Bank as your Bank for payment.
5. You are displayed the Internet Banking login page of Canara Bank.
6. Enter your username and password to login and click on Retails Banking (for Retails customers) and Corporate Banking (for Corporate customers).
7. Internet Banking displays your details received from CBEC site.
8. Select the account from which you wish to pay tax.
9. Enter the amount of tax for all the chosen minor heads.
10. Enter the remarks for the transaction and confirm the transaction.
11. You are displayed transaction password page. Enter your transaction password and confirm the same.
12. Transaction is processed and cyber receipt is displayed, if your transaction is successful.
13. Click on ‘PRINT’ to get copy of cyber receipt.

 

E-payment of customs Duty

To pay Customs through the internet

Canara Bank provides the facility to pay Customs duty online for all Customs locations. As a tax payer, you need to have a bank account, enabled for net banking facility with epayment in anyone of our Core Banking branches. Please find below the procedure for making the payment.

1. Please click the following link - Pay Customs
2. Select e-payment under services.
3. Provide your Import-Export code or your login credentials given by ICEGATE.
4. Select e-payment.
5. You are displayed the list of your unpaid challans.
6. Click on Pay against the challan you want to pay.
7. Select Canara Bank for payment.
8. You will be redirected to the Canara Bank Internet Banking login page.
9. Enter your Internet Banking user ID and password, Transaction password. If your credentials are valid, you can proceed to select the account from which you wish to pay tax.
10. You are provided a link to print the e-receipt for this payment on successful processing of your transaction.
11. You are redirected to ICEGATE site. If payment was successfully made for the challan, it will not appear in the list of pending challans in the ICEGATE site.
12. Click on ‘print’ to get copy of cyber receipt.

ANDHRA PRADESH

E-payment for Cyber Treasury-Andhra Pradesh

 

Canara bank provides the facility to pay Andhra Pradesh – Cyber Treasury payments through internet. A Customer (both Retail and Corporate) who is having Internet Banking facility in Canara Bank can pay Cyber Treasury payments through Net Banking at their convenience from anywhere any time.

  1. To pay Andhra Pradesh Cyber Treasury payments click on the following link – E-payment –Andhra Pradesh – Cyber Treasury
  2. After entering the details in the Cyber Treasury site, select Canara Bank from the Bank name list and submit.
  3. After receiving the parameters, Bank’s e-payment system redirects the taxpayer to the screen for confirmation of parameters and there the user may select the Customer type (retail or corporate)
  4. On selection of the option Retail/Corporate you will be re-directed to the Bank’s Internet Banking application. After the successful validation of the login id and password, you will be directed to next screen where the payment details will be displayed. In the next screen you will able to select the A/c number from which the payment is to be made.
  5. After giving confirmation, transaction password will be asked in the next screen.
  6. After the successful authentication of the transaction password, you will be redirected to the next screen wherein status of the transaction (success/failure) will be displayed. For the successful transaction you can generate the cyber receipt.
  7. After taking the print out of the cyber receipt you may return the transaction details to the Cyber Treasury site by clicking the link displayed in the screen
  8. A verify e-payment option is also provided in the Commercial Taxes website to verify the payment details in case, the transaction details are not returned back to the department site after making the payment in bank’s website.

  2. After entering the details in the Virtual Treasury site, select Canara Bank from the Bank name list and submit.

E-payment of Fees and Taxes for Transport Department -Tamil Nadu

Canara bank provides the facility to pay E-payment of Fees and Taxes for Transport Department -TamilNadu through internet. A Customer (both Retail and Corporate) who is having Internet Banking facility in Canara Bank can pay the Fees and Taxes for Transport Department -Tamil Nadu through Net Banking at their convenience from anywhere any time.

    1. Click on the hyperlink “Online Taxes” either in the corporate website www.canarabank.com or in the Internet Banking site www.canarabank.in
    2. Click on the link – E-payment of Fees and Taxes for Transport Department -Tamil Nadu to proceed for the payment of fees and taxes of Transport department of TamilNadu.
    3. You will be redirected to Transport Department site login page.
    4. Enter your user id and password. Select the option E-payment.
    5. Enter your transaction password and select challan for e-payment.

Check all the details , proceed further,select Canara Bank and submit.

  1. After successful validation of the login credentials you will be redirected to the next screen.In the next screen Click on the option "E-PAYMENT". You can proceed to select the account from which you wish to pay tax. After verifying the details confirm and click on the button “Pay Tax” to proceed with the transaction.
  2. A confirmation page is displayed indicating the status of your transaction. You may take the printout of your e- receipt, e-challan1 and e-challan2.
  3. After taking the print out of the cyber receipt you may return the transaction details to the Transport Department by clicking the link displayed in the screen.
  4. A verify e-payment option is also provided in the Transport Department website to verify the payment details in case, the transaction details are not returned back to the department site after making the payment in bank’s website.
  5. Tax payer can also generate and take printout of the e- receipt,e-challan1 and e-challan2 at a later date by using the option "Regenerate Cyber Receipt" provided in the Bank’s site. For regeneration click on the link “Regenerate Cyber receipt/e-Challans” after step No 1 as above.
  6. In case your account has been debited twice then Customer has to inform the Bank
    on the same day.

  8. The cut-off time for e-payment for every day is 8.00 pm. The transaction happened after 8.00pm will be accounted as of next working day

Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund - Online Payment

 

Canara bank provides the facility to pay donation towards PM National Relief Fund online through internet. A Customer (both Retail and Corporate) who is having Internet Banking facility in Canara Bank can pay donations through Net Banking at their convenience from anywhere any time.

  1. To pay the donation click on the following link Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund-Online Payment”
  2. Enter the details such as Name, Address, City, State, Country, e-mail ID, Mobile No, Phone No and Amount in the screen.
  3. On submission, you will be redirected to the Internet Banking gateway for validation of the login ID .On successful validation you will be prompted for confirmation for initiating the transaction by selecting the account number from the list displayed in the screen .On confirmation, you will be prompted for entering transaction password.
  4. On successful validation of transaction password the account will be debited and the pooling account will be credited in the designated nodal branch.
  5. On completion of successful transaction, cyber receipt will be generated. You may take printout of the cyber receipt generated.
  6. Formal Receipt for claiming Income Tax exemption will be dispatched at the address entered. Therefore kindly ensure the correctness of the Address.
